409 : Navod Paranavithana becomes the first Sri Lanka school cricketer to reach 400

Sri Lanka U-19 batsman Navod Paranavithana today became the first Sri Lankan batsman to score 400 runs in school Cricket.

Navod Paranavithana scored 409 runs against Dharmashoka college playing for Mahinda College, Galle. He hit 19 sixes & 39 fours on his way to 409 runs.

This is the first time a Sri Lankan batsman scored 400 runs in an innings in any level of professional cricket recognised by Sri Lanka Cricket.

Navod Paranavithana played for Sri Lanka U-19 during the recently concluded U-19 World Cup.
