A father arrested for allegedly killing his 2 children by throwing them into a well in Batticoloa today.
10 year old boy and 7 year-old girl were found dead according to Police.
2 children were reportedly thrown into the well early this morning and on hearing the screams area villagers has rushed to the scene.
Later the two children were rescued from the well but they were pronounced dead on admission to hospital.
The 2 children were reportedly living without their mother.
Police arrested the father on suspicion of the murders short while ago.
