28 Covid19 patients identified today at 11 PM, increasing the total infected patients number to 1558 in Sri Lanka.
Among the patients identified 17 were Navy personnel while 11 others were foreign returnees.
Meanwhile Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) has commenced PCR testing for sailors those who are isolated for 14-day quarantine process at the Gafoor Building said, Lt. Comm. Isuru Sooriyabandara speaking to defence web site.
He said, PCR tests are now being conducted for the first contacts at the initial stage and results could be obtained within next 24-hours.
Entire group of sailors at the building were directed for 14-day quarantine, following to the incident of one of the ambulance drivers found coronavirus positive, yesterday.
