Three persons, including an Indian youth, were reported to have died by suicide in three separate incidents yesterday across the country.
The Police said a 49- year-old man was found dead inside a house in Welikanda with preliminary investigations revealing he had died by suicide.
The post mortem examination into the death is to be conducted today.
A 59 year-old person was found dead in a paddy field in Minneriya last evening and is also suspected to have died by suicide.
Meanwhile, a 25 year-old Indian was found dead inside a house in Wellawatte last evening.
The Police said the Indian is believed to have died by suicide and his body has been placed at the Kalubowila hospital. (Newswire)
