First consignment of locally produced fruits and vegetables flown to Oman from Mattala

A consignment of 3,371 kilos of fruits and vegetables grown in Sri Lanka was flown to Oman today as part of a special program to export local fruits and vegetables through the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport

Salam Airways flight OV 1432 left to Oman from the Mattala Rajapaksa Airport with the first consignment of locally produced fruits and vegetables.

SalamAir, the first low cost airline in Oman operated an inbound flight to Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport on the 15th of August 2020, with 150 passengers onboard. The outward flight to Muscut carried 14 passengers and 3371 kg of cargo which comprised of Sri Lankan vegetables and fruits.
