A Chinese national has been arrested for operating a drone in a high security zone in Colombo.
The Police said the Chinese national was arrested by the Colpetty Police.
Operating drones in high security zones is strictly prohibited.
Following the Easter Sunday attacks strict guidelines had been introduced on operating drones in the country.
All drones need to be registered with the Ministry of Defence before they can be used in Sri Lanka. (Colombo Gazette)
