King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) has been invited to acquire one team from among those set to participate in Sri Lanka’s franchise based T20 Tournament, Lanka Premier League (LPL), which will kick off in November 2020.
Shar Rukh Khan owns the Kolkata Knight Riders from the Indian Premier League and the Trinbago Knight Riders from the Caribbean Premier League.
It is reported that therefore, a request has been made from SRK to acquire one team from the Lanka Premier League as well.
Galle Gladiators, the first team of the Lanka Premier League, was launched in Pakistan on Wednesday (02).
Pakistan PSL team Quetta Gladiators owns the LPL franchise Galle Gladiators.
Pakistan Cricket legend Shahid Afridi will be the icon player of Galle Gladiators in the LPL, while former Pakistan head coach Moin Khan will be the head coach. (Newswire)
