Former Sri Lanka Cricketer Rangana Herath is to be appointed as the Spin bowling consultant for the Sri Lanka national cricket team.
According to media reports Rangana Herath will be with the national team as a spin bowling coach for the Test tours against Bangladesh and England.
Rangana Herath, the most successful left-arm Test bowler in the history of the game, retired in 2018 with 433 Tests wickets to his name.
Bangladesh are expected to tour Sri Lanka for a 3 Test match series next month while England schedule to tour Sri Lanka for a 2 Test series in January. (NewsWire)
