Parliament proceedings cannot be held as per the new COVID-19 preventive regulations introduced by the Government in the wake of the latest coronavirus outbreak, opposition Leader Sajith Premadas said.
Speaking to reporters at the Parliament Complex, MP Premadasa said that the new regulations must be equally implemented to both the public and Parliamentarians.
At a time when the people are struggling with their livelihood, it is tragic to see the Government focused on introducing an amendment to the Constitution, he added. (NewsWire)
