Deputy Leader of All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) NM Shaheed says its leader MP Rishad Bathiudeen will appear publicly after 20th of October.
He says that MP Rishad Bathiudeen has filed a writ application through his lawyer, seeking an order from the Court of Appeal to prevent his arrest.
“Both Kurunegala Mayor and Ravi Karunanyake did the same. We are expecting Court of Appeal will give an order preventing his arrest similar to Ravi Karunanyake’s & Kurunegala Mayor’s cases” NM Shaheed said.
The writ application has been fixed for support on the 20th of October before Appeals Court judges Kumudini Wickramasinghe and Sobhitha Rajakaruna.
