Single-use plastic and polythene to be banned from January 2021

The cabinet of Ministers has approved a proposal to ban single-use plastic and polythene with effect from 01^st January 2021.

Steps have also been taken by the Central Environmental Authority, to promote an alternative to the banned polythene while those regulations are in force. (NewsWire)
