3 camps of the Police Special Task Force (STF) at Kohuwela, Peliyagoda and Wedamulla have been isolated after a group of STF personnel attached to the VIP security Unit have been identified as Covid patients.
- 9 Special Task Force personnel attached to Peliyagoda,Wedamulla & Kohuwala camps tested positive for Covid-19
- 3 policemen attached to Narahenpita police hospital, Seeduwa police & Mirihana police stations tested positive for Covid-19
- Parliament will remain closed today and tomorrow for disinfection process : Deputy Secretary General of Parliament
- All STF personnels deployed for Parliament security has been sent back and new team will be deployed by STF HQ – Parliament office
