The Police have requested the public to note down the licence plates of buses used for public transportation.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said information has been received that a number of patients linked to the Peliyagoda coronavirus cluster had travelled in public transport.
Bus owners have also been instructed to display the numbers on their licence plate in various parts of the bus for the convenience of passengers, he added. (NewsWire)
