Malinda Pushpakumara world’s 2nd highest first class wicket taker in last decade

Sri Lankan Spinner Malinda Pushpakumara is the world’s 2nd highest first class wicket taker in the last decade according to Australia based Tastat Cricket database.

According to the statics released from 2010 to 2019/2020 season, left arm spinner Malinda Pushpakumara has picked 667 wickets becoming the world’s 2nd highest first class wicket taker during that period.

New Zealand spinner Jeethan Patel is ahead of Malinda Pushpakumara with 695 wickets but he has played 93 more games than the Sri Lankan.

33 year old Malinda Pushpakumara has played 4 Test matches for Sri Lanka picking 14 wickets.
