Former Pakistan Skipper Shoaib Malik says the boundary lines in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2020 are bigger than that of the Pakistan Super League.

Malik gave the clarification to NewsWire, after many had taken to social media to point out that the boundary lines at the Hambantota Cricket Stadium were short.

The Pakistan cricketer further said that a successful league requires high scoring games and the LPL has seen such games in the first few matches of the tournament.

Shoaib Malik further said that the quality of cricket in the LPL is good and will see the participation of some big names in the next few tournament.

Voicing hope that the next few tournaments will be staged in more venues, Malik said it was essential to have spectators for the match to pump up the atmosphere of the game. (NewsWire)
