The Archbishop of Colombo His Eminence, Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith has urged the Government not to delay investigations into the 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks in Sri Lanka.
Stating that the Security Unit must continue investigations into the terror attacks, the Archbishop said the President and the Government had vowed to find the perpetrators responsible for the attacks.
His Eminence, Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith further called on the authorities to refrain from seeking political advantage by striking deals over the investigations into the Easter Sunday attacks. “We have to look for alternatives or handover the responsibility for some others if this is not done properly” His Eminence, Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith added.
