A large group of people have gathered in the Kegalle district to obtain free samples the potion produced by a local Ayurvedic doctor which was recently trialed by State officials in a bid to cure the coronavirus.
The concoction is promoted by Shaman and “Hela” Medicine Man Dhammika Bandara and was brought to the media spotlight after it was tasted by Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi.
Tens of thousands of people are reported to have gathered at a temple in the Hettimulla area in the Kegalle district today to obtain a sample of the portion which is reportedly “guaranteed to give life time immunity from Covid 19”.
According to reports, nearly 5,000 free samples of the potion will be handed out to those gathered today. (NewsWire)
