Software development and service company ESSHVA completes three years in the IT industry, working with international clients, taking Sri Lankan’s IT talent to the world. The brainchild behind the startup Sujeev Rajakulendran, founded the company in 2018. Starting with two employees, today it has opened a branch in Australia and working on multiple projects across the globe.

ESSHVA has worked on projects related to software development, mobile app development machine learning and managed infrastructure services; while working on many more of the latest developments in the tech world.

Rajakulendran said, it was his dream to have his own start up and progress in the tech world. The initial stages, it was hard, marketing the brand and acquiring customers. “My team and I knocked on doors and constantly were on the move. Many didn’t believe the latest technology and us, as we were a startup, but we have come a long way and manage various projects across the globe”.

Sujeev and his team are in the works, to promote new apps related to learning, trading, customer management for brands, offshore development projects from USA, Singapore, UK, Sweden, Switzerland and Australia. The team is also working with a NASDAQ listed entity, as well as the world’s largest e-commerce platform.

“A lot of essential service brands are unable to handle customer complaints. We believe that the app we are creating will make it easier for brands to communicate with customers and will have multiple features.

The world is becoming digitally transformed, and the pandemic ignited the idea, as everything is going online.  When this is taking place, its dire need to create accessible methods. As the transformation is happening rapidly it is important to develop new, innovative and easily accessible platforms”, Sujeev concluded.

Sujeev had opportunities to migrate regarding work but decided to stay in Sri Lanka and invest his time and money for the startup.   He believes that every Sri Lankan, should contribute to the development of the country, and inviting Lankans abroad to bring more IT projects.
