Indian tennis star Rohan Bopanna has expressed keenness to assist young Sri Lankan tennis players.
Bopanna said he ‘would love to be there and help develop a good tennis program in Sri Lanka as well’.
His statement on Twitter comes in response to Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa’s message commending the Tennis star’s passion for the sport.
Minister Rajapaksa said it was ‘heartening to see the kind of passion and love Bopanna has towards tennis and his commitment towards developing youngsters for the future.
He further called on Bopanna to extend his support to the upcoming tennis players in Sri Lanka too.
Responding to Minister Rajapaksa, Bopanna commended the Sports Ministers passion for sports in return. (NewsWire)
