Arnold, Kule among several new players to join Sri Lanka Legends squad

Former Sri Lanka cricketer turned commentator Russell Arnold, Former fast bowler Nuwan Kulasekara and Dhammika Prasad among several other new faces who will be joining the ‘Sri Lanka Legends’ squad in the upcoming Road Safety World Series tournament to be played in India.

The first edition of the series came to a premature halt after only four games in March last year due to the COVID-19 situation worldwide. Organizers have now decided to play all the remaining matches of the same tournament in a newly-built 65,000 capacity stadium in Raipur.

The tournament will start on the 2nd of March and will come to a close on the 21st of March. Sri Lanka Legends will play their 1st match on the 2nd March according to Shyam Impett, who is the manager of the squad.

Talking to NewsWire previously, he said that Australia will not be a part of the tournament this time around due to travel restrictions and Bangladesh and England have been added as new entrants. (NewsWire)
