The 1st dose of the Sinopharm vaccine will be administered to people above the age of 60 in Colombo from the 23rd-25th of June.
Regional Epidemiologist at the Colombo Municipal Council, Dr. Dinuka Guruge said the vaccine will be administered at the Kettarama Temple, P.D. Sirisena Grounds in Maligawatta, and Roxy Community Centre, in Colombo.
The vaccine will be provided only to residents of Colombo 1-15, while proof of residence will be verified at vaccination centres, she said.
Dr. Guruge added that online bookings of appointments via the e-channeling service will be opened for the public from today. (NewsWire)
