The State Ministry of Indigenous Medicine Promotion, Rural and Ayurvedic Hospitals development and Community Health organized the launch of ‘Apewedamahaththaya‘ website and ‘Suwadharani‘ Magazine at Temple Trees on 16 July 2021.
The event was attended by several cabinet ministers and other distinguished guests.
‘Apewedamahaththaya‘ website is designed to provide public with details of Ayurveda doctors available island wide for treatment based on their locality and speciality. It also provides public with details of all Ayurveda hospitals available in the country.
‘Suwadharani‘ the other initiative of the ministry and published quarterly is intended as a coffee table magazine that gives insights into the history of Ayurveda in Sri Lanka and of healthy living with natural therapy.
The first edition of Suwadharani was sponsored by Bio Extracts (Pvt) Ltd., the Manufacturers of BARAK brand Herbal Health Supplements.
