Prison Headquarters says that CCTV facilities are not available in Welikada or Anuradhapura prison premises.
According to Lankadeepa newspaper, CCTV facilities are only installled in Boossa, Angunukolapalassa and Kalutara prisons so far.
“CCTV footage will be not be available to investigate the incidents related to State Minister Lohan Ratwatte” Prison officials had told Lankadeepa newspaper. (NewsWire)
