Seylan Bank Partners Ceylon Chamber of commerce to Conduct a Webinar on Exports for SMEs

Seylan Bank, the Bank with a Heart, alongside the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) has organized a free webinar titled “How to make your product export ready and finding new export markets for your products and services”. The webinar catering to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Sri Lanka will take place on October 03, 2021, from 2.00 p.m. – 3.30 p.m. and will be live-streamed through Zoom, LinkedIn, YouTube and the official social media pages of Seylan Bank and the Chamber of Commerce.

Seylan Bank, having always supported small businesses, understands that SMEs contribute to almost half of Sri Lanka’s economy and provide employment to millions of people. The Bank believes these businesses are an important part of our ecosystem and need to be helped to expand into new markets outside our shores.

The free webinar is part of concentrated efforts by Seylan to support SMEs affected by the impact of COVID-19 on the markets and economy and to assist them to navigate through these tough times. As the first of the webinars planned together by the Bank and the CCC Centre for SMEs, it will focus on educating SMEs on the various aspects of exporting their products and services and will be delivered by industry leaders and subject matter experts.

Seylan Bank recently came together with the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) to revive the SME sector, offering a comprehensive range of business development services through a dedicated hotline at the CCC Centre for SMEs. The partnership enables the centre to increase its outreach of business development services and facilitate an active dialogue on constraints, challenges, and operational issues faced by SMEs. It also conducts seminars, webinars, workshops, and training programs, in addition to providing business advisory services and business counselling.
