The Police Headquarters has launched an investigation into the unprofessional behaviour of a senior Police officer while on duty in Sabaragamuwa, Mawbima Newspaper reported qouting the Police Media Unit.
Video footage has been circulating on social media on the incident, showing the Police officer assaulting an individual.
Social media posts have claimed that the Police officer had behaved in such a manner when inquiring about a road accident. (NewsWire)
