Gas related explosions : Statement from President’s office

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has appointed a committee led by Prof. Shantha Walpola of the University of Moratuwa to resolve the prevailing issues surrounding domestic LP gas cylinders in the country.

President has requested the committee to probe gas explosions and submit report within two weeks.
