A 19-year-old youth has has died following a fire at a house in Soysapura housing complex in Ratmalana yesterday (7).
The victim was admitted to Kalubowila hospital with burn injuries but later succumbed to his injuries, the police said.
The exact reason for the fire has not been determined yet and Mount Lavinia police have begun an investigation into the incident.
Police further said that the Magistrate’s inquiry and the post mortem will be conducting today (8). (NewsWire)
