Police seek public help to find girl missing from Maharagama

The Police have sought the assistance of the public to find a 15-year-old girl from Navinna, Maharagama who has been reported missing over the last five days. 

Police spokesman SPP Nihal Thalduwa said that an investigation has been launched based on a complaint that was filed stating that the teenager has been missing since last Friday (07). 

He said investigations that were conducted up to date have not provided any information on the whereabouts of the girl. 

The missing child is 5’3” in height and is identified as Neha Kaumadie Herath. She is said to have been wearing a green coloured t-shirt and black trousers on the day she had gone missing.
