The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) has warned that tourist establishments with a ‘Foreigners Only’ policy will face licence cancellation.
Issuing a statement, the SLTDA said it has received complaints regarding discriminatory practices followed by some tourist establishments against Sri Lanka citizens.
The authority further said that it has taken action against such tourist establishments.
However, the SLTDA also warned that action will be taken against guests who fail to adhere to the hotels’ requirements. (NewsWire)
