The Canadian High Commission in Sri Lanka has issued a warning over a recruitment scam underway on social media.
In a Twitter message, the High Commission said “the advertisements circulating on social media about a “Government of Canada recruitment campaign 2022” ARE FALSE.”
The High Commission added that the fake employment campaign promises to grant instant work permits through recruitment.
Reiterating that the campaign is false, the Canadian High Commission in Sri Lanka warned the public to remain vigilant and protect themselves from scams and immigration fraud.
