The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has decided not to impose power cuts at night during the weekend.
The decision has been taken following instructions issued in this regard by the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL).
The Chairman of the PUCSL Janaka Rathnayake said thereby, power cuts during the daytime will be reduced to 3 hours only to areas A, B, and C tomorrow (26).
Meanwhile, power cuts of 2 ½ hours will be imposed in other areas during the daytime tomorrow (26).
Rathnayake further said that power cuts will not be imposed on Sunday (27), except for areas A, B, and C.
He said a power cut for 2 1/2 hours will be imposed for areas A, B, and C during the daytime on Sunday (27). (NewsWire)
