President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has responded to Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa’s letter which was sent earlier, offering to form a Government under several conditions.
The President in his letter says since the Opposition Leader had rejected the earlier offer he had discussed with other party leaders and had decided to appoint Ranil Wickremesinghe as the Prime Minister.
The President further said that the Opposition Leader’s letter had some conditions which had not been agreed to by party leaders yet.
