The 10th death anniversary of the late Sri Lanka Rugby player Wasim Thajudeen, which falls today, has been commemorated with a special remembrance march.

A group including relatives and friends of the late ruggerite Wasim Thajudeen staged a remembrance march from his school in Colpetty to the Galle Face Green.

A special commemoration has been organized at the ‘GotaGoGama’ protest site at the Galle Face Green in Colombo in memory of the late Wasim Thajudeen.

Investigations into Thajudeen’s murder continue to remain stalled, ten years after his death.

Wasim Thajudeen was killed while travelling in his car on 17 May 2012.

While initially it was reported that he died in a car accident, startling revelations surfaced later indicating he was murdered. (NewsWire)
