Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe’s Office has launched a website for protesters at the ‘GotaGoGama’ protest site at the Galle Face Green in Colombo.

United National Party (UNP) Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardena said the special website has been launched as a means of communication between the two parties.

He further said the website will enable the anti-government protesters to present their problems and submit their proposals to the Prime Minister.

Wijewardene who was assigned by the Prime Minister to look into the issues faced by the ‘GotaGoGama’ protesters said the protesters will now be able to communicate via pmoffice.gov.lk

“Those who come up with practical and constructive proposals will be allowed to meet PM Ranil Wickremesinghe for a discussion. I hope I would be able to team up with the protesters and win their demands,” he added.

The public has been engaged in protests for over 40-days against the President and the government at ‘GotaGoGama’, calling for the President’s resignation and a system change. (NewsWire)
