Initiated in 2016 the project has evolved to be a national sensation with the support of Rotaractors and the public throughout the years. Rtr. Rashmika Silva. “However, this couldn’t be achieved alone; Rotaract Club of Kelaniya is indebted to the District Steering Committee for the endless and unwavering support through obstacles and peaks as well as to the team who helped and contributed throughout the project”, added the Rotaract Club of Kelaniya.

The club was able to help those who were under a great deal of stress as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the current economic crisis by providing a platform for people to physically bond, play some of their favourite sports, and most importantly, improve their physical and mental well-being, which was one of the project’s goals. The team says; that they will never forget the immensely positive feedback they received throughout each phase of the project on how it helped people in a variety of ways during the difficult and tumultuous times. This, according to RAC Kelaniya, is what defines the project’s success because it allows individuals to grow and improve as a result of it.
