The opposition Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has met with Russian officials in Sri Lanka to highlight the importance of bilateral trade ties.
Leader of the SJB and Opposition MP Sajith Premadasa held a discussion with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Sri Lanka, Yuri Materiy yesterday.
The meeting also saw the participation of key tourism stakeholders.
MP Premadasa said that the goal of the discussion was to facilitate an open dialogue and also assure them of the opposition’s proactive support in strengthening bilateral trade relations. (NewsWire)
