Sri Lanka Cricket ( SLC) has provided an update on Wanindu Hasaranga, who suffered a groin muscle strain while fielding during the 1st ODI against Australia.
Hasaranga is currently under the supervision of the Team’s Medical Team and the medical team is assessing his situation and will update the team management on a daily basis about the player’s condition, SLC said.
SLC further said that therefore, Hasaranga will continue to remain with the squad during the entirety of the ODI series. Whether he is able to participate in tomorrow’s 3rd ODI is still not clear and will be confirmed tomorrow.
