SriLankan Airlines settles 2024 bond interest payment

SriLankan Airlines, the National Carrier of Sri Lanka, has announced the settlement of interest payment for the guaranteed bond due in 2024.

The company said it has taken the necessary steps to settle the interest relating to its U.S.$175,000,000 guaranteed bond due in 2024 and guaranteed by the Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. 

Issuing a statement, the airline further said that the interest was paid in full within the applicable grace period using company funds.
