Shots had been fired into the air by an individual at a fuel station in the Hidhagoda area in Badulla.
According to reports, the incident had taken place around 11.30 last night (27).
Police investigations have revealed that the suspect had fired into the air to frighten the fuel station employees during a dispute at the fuel station.
However, no persons had been injured in the shooting.
No suspect has been arrested over the incident as yet, while the Badulla Police is conducting further investigations. (NewsWire)
