The nursing staff of the Kandy Teaching Hospital staged a protest today.
The protest was held against the cancellation of overtime pay and paid- leave during the COVID-19 pandemic.
A protesting nurse said the nursing staff have requested the support of the Government in this regard, but no official has appeared as yet to inquire about the matter.
“Thereby, we will be forced to draw a decision on continuing our assistance with regard to the Health Services in the future’, he said. (Newswire)
