Batticaloa District MP Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan aka Pillayan held discussions with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the President’s Office yesterday.
MP Pillayan said the discussions focused on various matters, including the development of the Batticaloa District, future political decisions, and the Provincial Council elections.
He said the President had vowed to visit Batticaloa soon and had also stated that more funds will be allocated for the development of the District.
MP Pillayan further said various shortcomings in the Districts were also discussed during which immediate solutions were agreed upon. (NewsWire)
