A protest was staged opposite an apparel factory in Bingiriya, which was reported to have operated despite a COVID-19 outbreak.
The protesters claimed that the factory was continuing to operate despite its employees having been detected with the virus.
The Police had however, dispersed the protesting area residents after religious leaders from the area vowed to provide a solution to the issue. (NewsWire)
