The vote on the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Bill will be held next week.
Seargent-at-Arms Narendra Fernando said Parliament sittings have been limited to two days next week.
He said the current coronavirus situation will be discussed during the Parliament session held on Tuesday (04).
Meanwhile, the debate and vote on the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Bill will be held on Wednesday (05).
Fernando said a decision was taken at the Party Leaders meeting to limit Parliament sittings to two days due to the prevalent coronavirus pandemic in the country.
However, Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) leader MP Anura kumara Dissanayake has stated that the Government had disregarded Opposition requests with regard to the debate on the Port City Economic Commission Bill.
He further said the Government has instead taken a decision to limit the debate on the Port City Economic Commission Bill to one day. (NewsWire)
