The Cabinet has approved a proposal to appoint three Rehabilitation Facilitation Officers for the Northern and Eastern Provinces.
Accordingly, Sugathadasa Kongala Liyanage, Yasaranga Godawela and Geethanath Kasilingam have been appointed as Rehabilitation Facilitation Officers for the Northern and Eastern Provinces.
Geethanath Kasilingam’s appointment comes in addition to his existing portfolio of Co-ordinating Secretary to the Prime Minister.
Kasilingam along with the others will be tasked with resolving the many issues faced by the residents of the Northern and Eastern Provinces, including land issues. (NewsWire)
