24th & 25th May declared as Govt holidays

The 24th and 25th of May have been declared as Government holidays.

The Ministry of Public Administration announced today that the Government has decided to declare the two days as holidays.

The Ministry announced that however, this does not include bank and mercantile sectors.

A travel restriction will also be enforced from 21st-25th May and 25th-28th May, in a bid to curtail the spread of the coronavirus in Sri Lanka. (NewsWire)
