Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) members of the Kuliyapitiya Urban Council today protested against the Government’s decision to move the proposed Professor’s Unit from the Kuliyapitiya Hospital to the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital.
One of the councilors, Indunil Kumarathunga was dressed in female clothing while participating in the protest against the move.
“The way we spoke earlier, now we cannot wear men’s clothing. That’s why I thought of wearing women’s clothing as a sign of protest, ” he said. (NewsWire)
