The health authorities have been instructed to complete the inoculation of the COVID-19 vaccine to all individuals above the age of 30 in the Western Province.
As per the directive issued by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the health authorities are expected to complete the vaccination process before 31st July.
Meanwhile, a batch of 264,000 doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine is expected to arrive in Sri Lanka.
Deputy Director-General of Health Services Dr. Hemantha Herath said the consignment will arrive over the next few days. (NewsWire)
