A youth has been arrested for stealing copper wires from air condition machines fixed at the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Headquarters in Darley Road, Colombo.
Investigations launched by the Maradana Police had led to the arrest of a 23-year-old resident of Colombo -10.
The Police have recovered the stolen goods, while the suspect will be produced before the court today.
The Police further urged people purchasing copper wires from third parties to remain vigilant and to ensure that the goods are not stolen property. (NewsWire)
