The Health Ministry has granted approval to administer the Pfizer vaccine for nearly 8,000 Sri Lankan workers who are waiting to travel for employment in 15 countries.
The Ministry of Labour said that the process will begin next week allowing these employees to travel abroad in the next two months.
The vaccine will also be given for those who are under the age of 30 and are travelling abroad for employment.
