Chasing a modest 82 runs, Sri Lanka achieved the target losing only 3 wickets to win the series 2-1.
India playing without 9 first choice players due to Covid issues struggled against Sri Lankan bowlers led by Wanindu Hasaranga who picked career best figures of 4-0-9-4.
This was Sri Lanka’s first T20I series win since 2019, when Dasun Shanaka led Sri Lanka to a 3-0 series win against Pakistan.
